Improved Mountain Views at Waynesville, NC B&B

OK, so this view of the mountains from our back patio is nothing to sneeze at when it comes to gorgeous mountain views. You would think it difficult to improve on this vision of loveliness, especially when the fall leaves are changing colors. Well, we've made some not so small changes to the landscaping to help improve even this great mountain view.

Here it is! The new and improved mountain views from the back patio of our Waynesville, North Carolina Bed and Breakfast, Brookside Mountain Mist Inn. Now you have a magnificent, unobstructed, panoramic view of the Balsam Mountains from the comfort of our patio. Of course, we have rocking chairs available for rocking your cares away while taking in the mountain views. Or, enjoy our fireplace deck, which also overlooks the mountains, while sipping a glass of delightful wine from our wine cellar.

Come for the scenery, stay for the mountain views! Let us be "Your Luxury Smoky Mountain Escape".

Mountain Festival Celebrates Appalachian Lifestyle

Jun 9 - Sat - APPALACHIAN LIFESTYLE CELEBRATION
Protecting and preserving mountain history through a heritage themed festival. A full day celebration of traditional mountain craft, food, and entertainment. Demonstrations of Appalachian life skills & crafts, storytelling, mountain music & clogging, home-style food vendors. 10am–5pm Main Street.

Don't miss the opportunity to see how things have been crafted by Appalachian folks for generations. These skills have been passed down for generations and are now going to be demonstrated during this one-of-a-kind event. In addition, there will be a Civil War Commemorative Weekend filled with demonstrations of musket firing and war tactics, as well as lectures on the skirmish here in Waynesville, North Carolina. Do you know why Waynesville is considered historic? Come for an event-filled weekend and find out!

While you are here for the festivities, be sure to check out http://www.brooksidemountainmistbb.com for a great place to stay. We only have two rooms left for the weekend of June 8th and 9th, so hurry!
