Fall Leaf Color Update from Waynesville, NC

We're coming up on the middle of October and the news is good for those coming to the mountains of Western North Carolina later in the month. The leaves have just begun to change colors and we just had some rain with colder weather over the next week. That should help sustain the leaf color through the end of October into the beginning of November! Its not too late to make the trip to see this magical event in the Smoky Mountains. The picture above is the view of the mountains from our back patio on October 12th. As you can see, there's still a ways to go for peak color in the mountains.

While you're here viewing the beautiful fall leaves, stay with us at Brookside Mountain Mist Inn Bed and Breakfast in Waynesville, NC. Our single-story, ranch-style Inn provides luxury and elegance with just a touch of rustic charm. We'll pamper you after a day of leaf-peeping and sight-seeing. Have a hot cup of coffee or spiced cider while enjoying your homemade, baked snack in the late afternoon. Dine in one of Waynesville's phenomenal restaurants and come back "home" to your cozy guestroom, complete with fireplace and sitting area. Let us be "Your Luxury Smoky Mountain Escape".

Come for the scenery, but stay for the adventure!
