Waterfalls and Hiking at Graveyard Fields

You may have heard that Graveyard Fields, a popular hiking and waterfall destination just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, will be closed beginning April 22nd for 11 weeks. Well, its true! The good news is that they will be making some incredible changes to improve the parking, provide restrooms, improve the hiking trails and overall make this an even better attraction than it already is!
If all goes as planned, Graveyard Fields will reopen July 8th with a new and improved version of this spectacular hiking and waterfall location. We will keep you posted on the progress and look forward to the grand re-opening soon.
In the meantime, there are still hundreds of things to do in the mountains of western North Carolina. See our 12-page travel guide for just a small sample of area attractions and activities. While you're here in the area, what better way to make your mountain adventure complete then to stay at a luxury bed and breakfast located centrally in Waynesville, NC. Brookside Mountain Mist Inn combines all the amentities of a luxury accommodation with just a touch of rustic charm. You'll come for the scenery, but stay for the adventure and comfort!
