Asheville Named "Coolest Town" in US!

It's official! Asheville was just named the coolest town in the entire US by Business Insider. While those of us living close to Asheville already knew this, it's great that the rest of the nation gets the confirmation from a reliable source. What makes Asheville so cool? Mostly it's the people. According to Business Insider, there seems to be a pattern of innovative and creative people leading their towns in a cool direction. For more info and details regarding this prestigious distinction for Asheville, visit Business Insider's recent posting online.

While Asheville does get the nod for it's "cool" status, if you want to really go to the mountains of western North Carolina, head 30 minutes further west to Waynesville. Nestled between The Great Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mountains, this quaint town has a lot to offer the mountain destination traveler. Located centrally in western North Carolina, Waynesville is a great place to make your base camp for exploring the region. You can find anything there is to do in the mountains within a one hour drive in any direction.

Thinking of traveling into this area in the near future? What better place to stay than a Waynesville Bed & Breakfast called Brookside Mountain Mist Inn. This is not your typical Victorian-style bed and breakfast with antique furnishings you are afraid to sit on! This place is luxurious enough to satisfy the comfort seekers with just a touch of rustic charm for the nature buffs. Our ranch-style, one-story Inn boasts the best views of the mountains of any local B&B. From the fireplace deck, the back patio, the comfortable living room with plush, overstuffed leather furnishings to the dining room, you'll get the best views of the mountains you could imagine. See our website for a 12-page travel guide to help give you some ideas of things to do while you are here.

Come for the scenery, stay for the adventure!
